Alpha Delta Kappa Beverly Jondahl Scholarship

Alpha Delta Kappa group – an altruistic sorority of teachers/educators. Their chapter (XI) was founded over 50 years ago, celebrates friendship, honors altruism, enhances world understanding by learning about different cultures, and promotes educational excellence. This scholarship is in memory of Beverly Jondahl and is awarded to a student that is pursuing a degree in the field of visual arts or art education. Beverly Jondahl was a Language Arts and Visual Arts teacher at Brainerd High School for most of her career. Ms.Jondahl developed a renowned Metal Arts class that was highly regarded, and she inspired many students to become jewelry designers. In addition, she taught various other classes in the Language Arts and Visual Arts departments and lived her life with an artist’s vision, creativity, and appreciation for beauty.
