CTC Scholarship

CTC Scholarship

On May 19th, 1950 seven men gathered for the first official meeting of the Crow Wing Cooperative Rural Telephone Company, later known as Consolidated Telephone Company. After obtaining personal loans, the seven directors started selling memberships to residents as part of the new cooperative.

Today, CTC continues to set the standard in telecommunications for the Brainerd Lakes Area and beyond. They strive to improve and expand their service areas by delivering state-of-the-art internet, TV, and phone services. As our rural communities rely on higher speeds and more reliable internet services for communication, entertainment, and conducting business, CTC remains committed to current and future demands.

Impact

The CTC Scholarship is awarded to a BHS senior pursuing a secondary education at a two or four-year college. Recipient or parent must be a CTC member.
