Visit Brainerd Scholarship
Visit Brainerd Baxter is the official destination marketing organization and visitors bureau for the cities of Baxter and Brainerd. Established in 1995, as a 501c6 non-profit corporation, they represent the tourism and hospitality businesses within the cities of Baxter and Brainerd. They are committed to promoting the cities as a leisure, business and convention travel destination, and as the economic center of the Brainerd Micropolitan Area. Visit Brainerd Baxter’s store-front location is in downtown Brainerd and hosts BPSF’s Warrior Store.
Impact
This scholarship will be for a graduating senior who is pursuing an education leading to a career in tourism, hospitality, events, communications or marketing. Student shall have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Preference will be given to a student who has work experience (in tourism and hospitality, if able to discern) and indicates a financial need.
